Speakitty · Privacy

Speakitty keeps no data about you. The only thing that ever leaves your phone is your voice, while you hold the microphone button, and it goes to your phone's own speech recognition service — nowhere else.
Your voice
Speakitty is a word game you play out loud. When you hold the microphone button, the phone listens; when you release it, it stops. The audio is handed to the speech recognition service built into your phone — Apple's on iPhone and iPad, Google's on Android — which turns it into text. Depending on your device, language and settings, that service may process the audio on the device or send it to Apple's or Google's servers; that processing follows Apple's or Google's privacy policy, not ours.
What Speakitty does with the result: it compares the words it heard with the letters on the table and shows you what it understood. We never record, store, upload or keep your voice. No audio is written to disk, no audio leaves the phone through us, and we have no server that could receive it.
The microphone permission is asked the first time you start a game, never before. If you decline it, or if your phone has no speech recognition, the game switches to touch mode: same letters, same words, same points, no microphone.
What we do not do
- No personal data collected, stored on servers, shared or sold.
- No account, no registration, no login.
- No advertising, no ad networks, no tracking, no third-party SDKs.
- No analytics or crash reporting services.
- No access to contacts, camera, location or photos. The microphone is used only while you hold the button.
What stays on your device
Your progress (best scores, daily streak, medals, the cat's accessories) and your settings (language, sound, vibration, input mode) are saved only in the app's local storage. Deleting the app deletes them; "Reset progress" in Settings erases them too. They never leave your phone, and we never see them.
The daily challenge is computed on your device from the date and the language: no server hands it out, and nothing is sent when you play it. The "Share" button copies a text to your clipboard, and only you decide where to paste it. That text contains your score and how many words you found — never your voice, and never the words themselves.
App updates
Speakitty is built with Expo and may download fixes to its own code and word lists from Expo's update service (EAS Update) when it starts with an active connection. That request carries only the technical information needed to serve the right file (app version, platform, runtime version) and no personal data. Updates to the native app itself always go through the App Store or Google Play.
The website
This page lives on mobile.elephant-inc.com, a static site with no accounts and no forms. Like any web server it may keep ordinary access logs for a short time (IP address, browser type, page requested), used only to run the site and keep it secure: they are not combined with anything else and do not identify players.
Children
Speakitty is a word game suitable for all ages, rated 4+ / Everyone. Since no data is collected from anyone, none is collected from children either. The words the game proposes are filtered for offensive language; the speech recognition service belongs to Apple or Google and, if the phone belongs to a child, is governed by the family settings of that platform.
Controller and contact
Speakitty is published by Elephant Inc. SRL, the data controller for what little this page describes. Questions about this policy: info@elephant-inc.com — a person answers, not a form.
Since no data is collected, there is nothing held by us to access, correct or delete. What concerns you lives on your device, and uninstalling the game removes it. For the audio processed by your phone's speech service, Apple and Google provide their own controls in the phone's settings.
This policy exists in English and Italian. In case of differences in interpretation, the Italian version prevails.
Speakitty · Privacy
- Nessun dato personale raccolto, salvato su server, condiviso o venduto.
- Nessun account, nessuna registrazione, nessun login.
- Nessuna pubblicità, nessuna rete pubblicitaria, nessun tracciamento, nessun SDK di terze parti.
- Nessun servizio di analytics o di crash reporting.
- Nessun accesso a contatti, fotocamera, posizione o foto.
